May Flowers....

or not!!! It snowed today! It's May 2nd!!!!! This is craziness!!! On one hand it's great to be in school on these cold, dreary days, but on the other hand I can't believe it's May 2nd and there is so much left to do in each of the classes at school. Holy smokes!

In the spirit of May flowers and that super special day that occurs this coming Sunday, my students did a presentation for the 4th graders to help them plant geraniums. This week they will be returned to the kids so that they can present them to their super special Moms, grandmas, aunts, or whomever else they choose.

In conjunction with the geranium planting this year, we did a petting zoo and tour for all the classes that came over. What fun it was for the elementary schoolers, but also what fun it was for my students!

This year we're selling lots of plants in the greenhouse too! We have tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, sweet potato vines, geraniums, and other annuals for sale. Please keep us in mind for your plant needs as all the sales go back into the greenhouse fund to buy more plants.

Enjoy your day...Bundle up!!!!
Rachel
